Information on the features released in November 2020
November's release included several changes to Studio.
- We've introduced a distinction between Published and Live scripts
- Rules are now automatically suggested as soon as text is pasted into the Setup view. Lots more detail below.
What is the difference between a Published and Live script?
Scripts that are serving impressions are now distinguishable from scripts that are Published but yet to serve impressions.
More information on script statuses is available here.
Note: the distinction between Live and Published scripts will only be applied to scripts that started serving impressions from the 1st June 2021. Scripts that went live before that date will all be in "Live" state.
Once the script is "Live" and serving impressions, it will stay in this state until it's archived.
Improvements to the Rules Auto Suggestion
Whenever text is pasted into the Setup view, Studio now analyses it and attempts to automatically apply Rules to the dynamic sections of the Script. We've recently made improvements on the Rules Suggestion feature to make it more reliable and flexible. A detailed overview of the feature is available here.
