      August 2021 Release Notes

      Information on the features released in August 2021

      In the August release, we've introduced a new improved version of our Arrange View!
      Below are a few highlights on what's changed and how to access the new page.

      What's new:

      1. You can now start arranging your audio without having all the assets
      2. A better and more clear indication of overlapping elements
      3. No more "negative offset issues" - you can only drag an element up to the start of the previous element
      4. The Arrange View is always zoomed out by default so that you can see all your media on the timeline
      5. Zoom to fit functionality that fits all your media to your screen
      6. You can now search through the Lines when you open a dynamic section and arrange specific dynamic lines
      7. The Lines tab functionality is improved to make it easier for you to find and layout specific dynamic versions:
        1. Preview a version of the ad that includes those lines by finding the line (perhaps using the new search feature!) and double-click on it.
        2. Once you've selected a line you will be able to preview the version of the ad that contains that line and lay it out in the Arrange view
        3. Choosing a specific line will also impact other sections of your script in the arrange view, e.g. if you have a sunny line in 2 different sections and you’ve chosen the sunny line in one of your sections, Studio will also put the sunny line in the other section on the timeline.
        4. All the lines “incompatible” with the current selection lines will be greyed out but still can be moved around or chosen. If you choose to put a greyed out line on the timeline, your previous selection will be removed.

      8. Shortest / Longest / Default Views have moved to the top bar. The Dynamic Player functionality is available via a toggle next to the Shortest / Longest / Default View

      9. The “Undo” button is now available from the top left corner! 

        Note: the undo only works within the current session (if you leave the script and come back or refresh a page, you can’t use undo for your previous actions on this script)

        How to access: 

        When in the Arrange View just proceed to the toggle in the top right corner next to the Settings menu and choose to toggle in to see the changes!
